Cultural Artifacts of Pronatalism Part 1 of 3

INFLUENCERS, PANICKERS,  AND CAR SALES

Silicon Valley ‘Pronatalist’ Simone Collins says she will save the world from under-population by continuously having children until her “uterus is forcibly removed in a botched surgery”. (Morgan, 2023)

With names like Industry Americus, and Titan Invictus, Malcolm and Simone Collinses’ burgeoning brood seem to be stranded somewhere between the Victorian and Roman Empires. But unfortunately, these techno-puritans could hardly be more current. The former Silicon Valley couple became disillusioned with the “urban monoculture” (Baxter 2025) they encountered at so many progressive New York dinner parties and now they want lots of babies to save the world from underpopulation. (Morgan 2023)

Their podcast, Based Camp, a circus show for their propaganda, has over 35,000 followers. If I were to hazard a guess at the Collinses’ motivation, I’d place my bet on profilicity; (Moeller, H.-G., & D’Ambrosio, P. J. 2018) the superficial false self, or second order observation, curated for the digital narcissist of today.

The Collinses attained status and fame for using rage bait to frame their neo-trad lifestyle. They also drafted several executive orders for the Trump administration to facilitate pronatalism. In photos, they look quite pleased with themselves. Their children, not so much. (Malcolm once face-slapped his son on camera, after observing a lioness discipline her cub.)

Being such sensible parents, they had polygenic analysis done on their many frozen embryos, not to select only the fittest in terms of physiology and intellect, but to choose which to implant in what order:

Some of those embryos are carrying that specific cancer gene that runs in Simone’s family; some aren’t. But they do plan to have all of them. Polygenic analysis has allowed them to rank embryo quality, but ultimately they will eventually come to embryos they know are carrying the cancer gene. (Baxter, 2025)

The Collinses' message seems to be that underpopulation is a problem and because they’re such high quality humans, people who think, act, achieve and LOOK like them should have lots of babies. They shouldn’t think too much about the serious issues that those downer lefties in New York talk about. Rather, they should have babies, be Caucasian, wear quirky glasses and post it all online. (It should be noted that they have given lip service to diversity on one occasion, to my knowledge.)

Incidentally, the expression ‘forcibly removed’ in Simone’s quote about her uterus, is typically applied when the occupation of a particular place is deemed unlawful.
